Directions by Motorway

Motorway AP-7, continue in the direction of Girona - França, take the Universitat Autònoma exit.

Motorway C-58, continue in the direction of Sabadell-Terrassa, take exit number 8 (connecting with the AP-7 in the direction of Lleida-Tarragona). Once on the AP-7, after 1000m, take the side road marked Universitat Autònoma.

Train

Travelling by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-FGC, Barcelona city centre is only 25 minutes from the UAB campus.

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya - FGC offer integrated tickets useable on all central Barcelona metro and bus services.

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya: Lines S2 (Barcelona Plaça Catalunya - Sabadell) and S55 (Barcelona Plaça Catalunya – UAB. Only operates at certain days and times).

The average frequency of trains is every 6 minutes (at peak time) to every 15 minutes (non-peak).

The Barcelona Airport

The Barcelona Airport - El Prat is approximately 25 kilometers from the UAB Campus.

To arrive at the UAB campus from the airport:

1. By train –RENFE– until Barcelona-Plaza Catalunya station (journey time: 23 minutes). Once in Plaza de Catalunya station take one of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-FGC (in the direction of Sabadell) and get off in Bellaterra station (to get to the Vila Universitària zone) or get off at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (to get to the centre of the campus).

2. By train –RENFE– until Barcelona-Sants station. Trains leave the airport every 30 minutes (journey time: 18 minutes). Once in Barcelona-Sants train station disembark and take a train in the direction of Cerdanyola-Universitat (which then connects with a linking UAB bus service).

3. By Bus (Aerobús) or taxi until Barcelona-Plaza Catalunya. Buses leave the airport approximately every 15 minutes. In Plaza Catalunya take one of the Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya-FCG (in the direction of Sabadell).

Buses

Night Bus: N62

The night bus connects the UAB campus with Barcelona. It operates every night of the week.

From Barcelona – Plaça Catalunya to Vila Universitària: every hour from 1h until 5 h. The journey lasts for approximately 35 minutes.

From Vila Universitària to Barcelona: every hour from 1h until 5h.

Internal Bus

The UAB operates an internal bus service which links its main centres and campus faculties and the Cerdanyola-Universitat Renfe train station.
